Dr. William W. Thomas
Dr. Thomas has been in the specialty practice of orthodontics for 18 years. He earned both his dental and orthodontic degrees from Georgetown Dental School in Washington DC. Upon graduation from dental school, he was selected into the prestigious national dental honor society OKU, received awards for outstanding Prosthodontic (dentures) and Pediatric treatment, and graduated in the top 5% of his class.
Dr. Thomas was born and raised in San Diego and graduated from the University of San Diego (Magna Cum Laude). Upon graduation he was selected outstanding graduating male student and delivered the senior address. Additionally, Dr. Thomas played on the football team where he was selected Captain and nominated for All-American his senior year while playing inside linebacker.
Our treatment philosophy focus’s on the concept of using gentle pressure, with longer treatment intervals between some appointments, to move teeth. Teeth, gums and bone respond remarkably well under light force conditions.
